Since its foundation in 1982, Café de São Bento has been an iconic and unique place in Lisbon, known for serving the best steak in town. In 2022, the restaurant was acquired by Miguel Garcia, who has since expanded the Group, which now includes two locations – the original Café de São Bento at Rua de São Bento 212 and a second location at Time Out Market. This emblematic brand will have two new openings by 2026, in Cascais and in Lisbon.

In addition to these historic restaurants, the São Bento Group opened the renowned Bougain Restaurant & Garden Bar in 2023, located in a historic family home in the heart of Cascais. The menu features Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, with classic Portuguese, French and Italian influences.

This year, the Group is growing with another ambitious project to help establish Cascais as a gastronomic destination: Corleone Ristorante al Mare. With a menu signed by Rodolfo de Santis, Brazil’s most emblematic Italian chef, this will be an unmissable destination for lovers of real Italian cuisine and the freshest produce from Italy.
